We are a family-owned and operated business located in Port Charlotte, Florida. We have been operating for over 10+ years and are a registered LLC with the state of Florida. We are a real company with a verified Google address, phone, chat box, and email address, where you can get in contact with us.

Unfortunately, at this point there is no American Manufacturer that produces fairings in the United States, therefore we have an ABS Fairings office & manufacturing plant in Shenzhen, China that has produced our fairings for the past 10+ years. All of our powder-coated bolts are powder-coated and shipped directly from our office in Florida, all of our Ready to Ship kits are shipped directly from our office in Florida, and all of our customer service is done from our Florida office M-F 9 am – 5 pm EST.

We have the best fitment, quality, and warranty in the aftermarket industry! We want installing aftermarket fairings to not be a chore/hassle anymore; we want it to be a good experience for riders to express themselves with custom designs that set you apart from everyone else. 1.1 Processing Estimated times:

Presently, the completion of surface prepping and painting for a standard fairing kit design is estimated at 2 to 3 weeks. Please note: Additional time may be needed for Custom/New Designs, Complex Designs, Additional/Optional Parts, and Special Decals.

ABS Fairings bodywork is freshly painted to order after payment is received:

Order status “Pending” Our team will review the order details and payment information. You may be asked to reply with a photo of your driver’s license to help us verify payment and shipping details. So, you must be able to communicate through email.

Order status “In the Paint Booth” When your kit is placed in paint booth status, it encompasses the following:

Acquiring your parts from stock

Prepping the surface for paint

Placed in the queue for paint

Painting commences

Decals applied

Final clear coat applied

It takes about 10 to 15 working days to make and paint standard orders.

Additional time for prep and painting completion may be required due to the following circumstances: custom orders, complex designs, optional parts, specialty decals, holidays, paint shop maintenance, and our high order season which generally occurs from March through May. Order status “Awaiting Confirmation” Once your fairing kit is completed, our team will send an email that includes:

This process is done through email, and we expect the customer to reply to the email with an “OK to Ship.” Shipping will hold the product for 30 days. If there is no reply after 30 days, the product will be shipped to our Florida Location, where the customer is responsible for any reshipment costs.

4.0 Custom Order Process

We will reply with a written quote. We will get all the details of your fit, designs, colors, options, and cost completed to your request. Next, we will send you an invoice to your email with a safe pay link and ask you to register an account on our website or here! Please review and ensure that the shipping address in PayPal is updated and correct before making payment on your invoice or website order. Your order will be shipped to the PayPal Verified address on your invoice payment receipt. We are unable to make changes once the payment has been made. Once verified, an ABS Order ID number will be assigned to your order.

If you want or if we feel it necessary for the painter to understand your design, then a mock-up photo process can be performed. We have a talented staff in Florida ready to make your ideas a reality.

The $50.00 to $100.00 mock-up payment is a non-refundable fee—a maximum of three revisions. Design changes will require a new mockup photo. The intended use of the photo is for ABS Fairings Paint Shop Manager to understand customer design position and color placement; it is not meant to be exact. The digital image is created utilizing specific instructions that the customer has provided. This level of mock-up is not an ABSFairings.com custom-created design. The digital photo is not an exact representation of the final product. The final product is subject to modifications, on-site, from the digital rendition due to the painter’s actual product measurements, specifications, and artistic abilities.

6.1 USA Stock Parts

If your part is in stock in our USA warehouse, it usually takes us about 2 to 3 business days to process and handle. Parts shipped from the USA warehouse normally arrive within 2-7 business days once your order has been shipped.

6.2 Factory Direct Parts
If the part you have ordered is out of stock in our warehouse, our team will ship it directly from the factory. It usually takes about 3 to 5 business days to process and handle.

Factory-direct parts normally arrive within 7-10 business days once your order has shipped.
If the product is shipped factory direct, then we will email you with an estimated timeline and ask for your approval.

8.0 ABS Fairings General Information

8.1 Aftermarket Fairing Fastener and Bolt Kit Reference Guide

A specialized Fairing Fastener kit tailored by our experienced team members. We offer the most complete aftermarket fastener kits available, making this your best choice for one-stop shopping. Our parts lists are specific to your model/year group and more! Furthermore, ABS Fairings Fastener kits are much more than our high-quality stainless steel bolts, they also include stainless steel screws, flat and step washers, clip, weld, rubber, lock nuts, and push pin retainers. Our bolts are made from stainless steel. So, you will not have the stripping out issues common with our competitors. Optional colors are offered by electroplating or powder coating in Florida with USA Prismatic Powders to complement your new look.

We recommend an experienced technician install your fairings; however, with medium to high skill levels and patience, you should be able to complete a fairing kit swap over a weekend. You must use the manufacturer’s instructions, torque values, and safety warnings. Below are some fairing fastener installation tips:

Most of our bolt kits are universal to your model and apply to more than just one model/year group, so having additional parts is normal.

  • Check fastener depth for clearance. For example, do not allow a screw tip to be too long and damage a part or a bolt to be too short and not get full thread engagement.
  • Our aftermarket bolt heads have smaller diameter heads than some OEM-style bolts, and our aftermarket bolts do not have shanks like some OEM-style bolts. So, we use step/shoulder washers.
  • Check the fastener with the step/shoulder washer diameter. If the fairing hole is too small, a hobby/Exacto knife can be used to clean fairing holes of any excess plastic or paint. If the fairing hole is too large, check if a rubber grommet is needed.
  • Step/Shoulder washers supplied are required. These will copy the OEM-style bolt shank. They are specially designed washers to help provide both scratch resistance and a seat for the screws in the required location. Some shoulder washers have a large internal diameter to provide space for alignment and natural movement between fairings. Check carefully and center all screws before tightening to give a good finish.
  • Do not tighten until all bolts of the part are hand-started and centered. The torque sequence should be for the center of the part outwards.
  • Stainless Steel Bolts/Screws are strong, but we do not recommend using a screw gun. Just take your time. Do not over-tighten. Silicon sealant is an excellent soft thread lubricant and soft thread lock.
  • For the colored kit, the powder coating does add a few miles to the screw hole dimensions, and the standard Metric Allen wrench will likely not fit. Try a standard size of 7/64” for the M5 and 9/64” for the M6.
  • Flat Washers should be used to have soft contact with the painted plastic parts.
  • Clip Nuts are designed for variable thickness, so an adjustment to the internal tab with needle nose pliers may be necessary to achieve a soft fit. If the screws do not appear centered on the fairing holes, ensure all the speed nuts are correctly aligned.
  • Weld nuts are used for nut blind spots. The surface must be clean for the adhesive to work. They also work to replace Dzus ¼ turn screws. In addition, they work to replace push-type retainers, which are recommended for high-speed applications.
  • For high-speed applications, we suggest replacing push pins with nuts and bolts.

8.2 Fairing Installation
Although our fairings are made to be an easier install for our customers, ABS Fairings does suggest that an experienced technician should install your fairings: however, with medium to high skill levels and patience, you should be able to complete a fairing kit swap over a weekend. You must use the manufacturer’s instructions, torque values, and safety warnings.

8.3 Paint and Protection Information

8.3.1 Hi-Vis Paint:
If you purchase a High Visibility Design/Color for your fairings, we highly recommend you protect it with consistent UV Protectant wax application (Such as Nexgen’s Carnauba Spray Wax) or ceramic coating to protect it from UV Damage and Sun Fading. (For Example, but not limited to, Shocker Yellow, Neon Yellow, and Hot Pink) ABS Fairings warranty does not cover fading issues on these Hi-Vis paints.

8.3.2 Paint Codes:
Our paint is custom-mixed, and we don’t have conventional paint codes available, but you can take a piece of the fairing kit to a modern automobile paint store, and they can match the paint.

8.3.3 Touch-up Paint:
We don’t have the ability to ship liquids. But you can take a piece of the fairing kit to a modern automobile paint store, and they can match the paint and make you a little sample.

8.3.4</strong Wax:
All fairings should be protected with wax. We like Nexgen products, and the Chemical Guys make a good one just for matte finishes.

8.3.5 ABS Fairings Mold:
Our molds are inspected and maintained, and we never buy used molds. Each part is made with precise measurements every time.

8.3.6 ABS Fairings Plastic:
New virgin high-quality ABS plastic. Not recycled or mixed with fillers is a common practice for cutting costs. We inject our high-quality ABS plastic into a well-maintained mold so that each part is made with precise measurements, flexibility, and temperature resistance.

  • Prep Work: A two-part primer made for ABS plastic. This is an essential step in the adhesion of the paint to the part. This expensive step can easily be skipped by paint shops trying to cut costs.
  • Base Coats: We generally apply 2-3 coats of base automotive grade paint and then the secondary colors. This can be one of the most time-consuming steps depending on the complexity of the design. Then we use a UV light drying process.
  • We do not paint the back side of the fairings unless requested within a custom design.

8.3.7 Heatshield:
It is vital to install it before mounting the fairings, even if you are going around the block to test your new fairings. Any fairing part near the exhaust system requires protection. If you have any questions about installing the heatshield, please get in touch with us! ABS Fairings warranty does not cover melting issues with no heatshield installed/Installed Improperly.

8.3.8 Decals:
Our standard process is to install the decals/ vinyl of the design under the clear coat to lock them in for years of life and that custom look. If you want no decals or decals on top of the clear coat, just add your request to the custom notes of your order.

8.3.9 Clear Coat:
This is one of the most essential steps to a beautiful paint job. We use automotive grade paint clear coat with an additive flex agent. We carefully apply 2-3 generous coats to ensure adequate protection and a brilliant shine. The thick clear coat allows you to buff out road scratches for years of shine. Please note only one coat of clear on Matte paint.

8.3.10 Packaging:
While this step may not seem as intense as the others, it’s during this time that all parts undergo our quality control inspection. We don’t just check every tenth or hundredth fairing; we check every detail to ensure it’s ready for you.

For example, orders to Hawaii and Alaska typically incur an additional shipping charge of $25.00 estimated at 3 to 4 weeks. Prices vary based on the box size and shipping address.

12.4 International Shipping:

Our team will confirm your address and box size and reach out to you if any differences in pricing or timelines occur. Please contact us with your shipping address for your shipping pricing and estimated timelines. Prices vary based on the box size and shipping address.

12.5 Processing and Handling:

The transport of your order from the paint shop to the airport typically takes an estimated 3-5 business days. Please be rest assured that our team is diligently working on getting your package delivered promptly.

13.0 Ready to Ship Kit:

These kits are completed and ready to be shipped. It usually takes 2-3 business days to process and prepare your fairings. Once your fairings have shipped, most packages arrive within 2-10 business days by UPS or FedEx ground with a signature required. Free Shipping is included for orders within the Continental United States; for all other customers, including Hawaii and Alaska, please get in touch with us.

14.0 Tracking Information:

After your order has shipped, you will be emailed the tracking number and information. You are welcome to log in to your account at your convenience to review the current status of your order or your order information.

ABS Fairings does not own, nor does it control the shipping company’s process; therefore, ABS Fairings is not responsible for shipping company issues, including but not limited to delays, loss, theft, or damage. Our team provides tracking information so that customers can track their packages and contact the shipping company if an issue occurs.

If you suspect an issue has occurred, including but not limited to fraud, theft, or damage to the package, please get in touch with the shipping company for more information. Customers must track their packages, as we require an adult signature upon delivery.

If the first attempt at delivery was unsuccessful, please contact the shipping company directly to make arrangements for redelivery or pick-up. If a customer’s tracking number indicates “Delivered” and the customer did not receive the package, they must immediately contact the shipping company and local authorities. Customers must contact our team by opening a support ticket with your shipping company’s claim and police report case number.

Customers surrender their chargeback processing rights if they do not take responsibility for working with all parties mentioned.

Once your order leaves the factory and is en route to your home, we entrust the shipping company with providing the best shipment service to our customers.

Unfortunately, issues do arise from time to time, and we completely understand your frustration. Please note that we see the same tracking information as the customer; therefore, we cannot provide any additional information or insight on your order’s whereabouts. If a shipping issue occurs, we appreciate your patience and request that you contact us to assist you further.

Please Note: Optional parts may be shipped with an additional tracking number. For example, our powder-coated bolt kits are shipped directly from our Florida Office.

15.0 Custom Taxes for International Orders:

Customs (Taxes, if required) – Buyer’s responsibility. Import duties, taxes, and charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges. These charges are the buyer’s responsibility. Please check with your country customs office to determine these additional costs.

Support ticket parts and any accessories purchased may be shipped in separate packages. All packages may be subject to customs taxes imposed by the country of shipment destination. ABSFairings.com is not responsible for the payment of said taxes.

16.0 Unclaimed Shipments:

The customer is responsible for tracking and signing for the fairing kit shipment. The customer will be responsible for the re-shipping cost if unclaimed and returned to the sender. Please track your fairings and make arrangements for someone to be present to accept your package to avoid extra shipping charges. *All of our packages require an adult signature upon delivery. *

17.0 APO/FPO Addresses:

We currently ship to APO and FPO military addresses, our team will confirm your address and box size and reach out to you if any differences in pricing occur. Please be advised that shipping can sometimes be delayed with APO shipping addresses. Please email us to confirm the address.

18.0 PO Boxes:

We are currently unable to ship complete fairing kits to PO Boxes. ABS Fairings requires a signature at the time of delivery. You will be contacted for an alternate shipping address if a PO Box is entered during checkout. We apologize for the inconvenience.

19.0 PayPal Shipping Addresses:

Please review and ensure that the shipping address is correct when using PayPal as an option on the website or invoicing system. Our system utilizes the address that PayPal approves and provides our company with. We cannot change the billing and shipping address once the payment has been made.

How Does Route Process Refunds or Reorders?

When Should I File a Claim?

Marked As Delivered (Stolen)

– Claims will be reviewed no earlier than 5 calendar days and no later than 15 calendar days from when it was marked delivered.

– Please note, that some order issues may require a police report to be filed.

Stuck In Transit (Lost)

– For domestic orders, claims will be reviewed no earlier than 2 calendar days and no later than 30 calendar days from the last update. The maximum filing time is 365 days from the order date.

– For international orders, claims will be reviewed no earlier than 20 calendar days and no later than 30 calendar days from the last update. The maximum filing time is 365 days from the order date.

Damaged

– Claims for damaged items require photos of the packaging and item(s) and must be filed no later than 15 calendar days from when it was marked delivered.

21.0 Return Policy

We are a “Hassle-Free” company, and our office is located in Port Charlotte, FL. This is where all our custom orders, returns, replacements, repairs, and customer service are handled.

A return request by email must occur within 5 business days of delivery. The customer is responsible for the monetary cost of return shipping to our Florida offices and will receive a full refund, less Express Shipping (if applicable), merchant fees, processing fees, route fees and a $100.00 restocking fee for your full fairing kit order. All parts are to be individually wrapped in original packaging. These terms will apply as long as the ABS Fairings Management Team deems the item is Uninstalled and Undamaged upon inspection. ABS Fairings will not accept returns after 5 days of the delivery date

ABS Fairings has a lot of experience painting fairing kits over the past 10 years. However, we do not guarantee a color and design match. Most customers say the color is very similar to motorcycle industry paint colors and do not notice a difference. We do not use traditional paint codes, nor do we guarantee that our custom mixed colors can be color-matched by a paint shop not associated with ABS Fairings.

All special orders and ready-to-ship items will be charged a 25% restocking fee upon return.

ABS Fairings LLC does sell individual parts but does not guarantee a perfect color match. Individual parts are not returnable. ABS Fairings, LLC does sell unpainted fairing kits made from 100% ABS plastic molded to OEM specifications to allow for precision fitment. Please note that we suggest you test fit the parts before painting them to verify fitment.

22.0 Cancellation Policy

 

22.1 Standard Order Cancellation

22.1.1 Cancellation of an order before “In The Paint Booth” status will be issued a full refund minus merchant and processing fees.

22.2 Cancellation of order within 48 hours of “In the Paint Booth” status will be issued a refund minus merchant and processing fees and a $40.00 restocking fee.

22.3 Cancellation of order after 48 hours of “In the Paint Booth” status will be issued a refund minus merchant and processing fees and a $100.00 restocking fee.

22.4 Cancellation of order in the “Awaiting Confirmation” status will be issued a refund minus merchant fees, processing fees, and a $100.00 restocking fee.

22.5 No cancellation of an order is allowed once the fairing kit is in the “Ok to Ship” or “Shipped” status.

22.2 Custom Design Cancellation Policy

Cancellation of an order before “In the Paint Booth” status will be issued a full refund minus merchant and processing fees.

Cancellation of order within 48 hours of “In the Paint Booth” status will be issued a refund minus merchant and processing fees and an $80.00 repainting fee.

Cancellation of order after 48 hours of “In the Paint Booth” status will be issued a refund minus merchant and processing fees and a $150.00 restocking fee.

Cancellation of an order in “Awaiting Confirmation” Status will be issued a refund minus merchant fees, processing fees, and a $150.00 restocking fee.

Cancellation of any fairing kit with personal names, numbers, and or quotes will be issued a refund minus $100.00-200.00 based on the size and complexity of the design/decal.

No cancellation of an order is allowed once the fairing kit is in “Ok to Ship” or “Shipped” status.

22.3 Personalized Custom Design Cancellation/Return Policy

Fairing orders have been customized specifically for an individual customer and cannot be canceled or returned as these are created for a specific that specific individual.

22.4 Fairing Parts Order Cancellation Policy

Cancellation of a fairing parts order before “In the Paint Booth” status will be issued a refund minus merchant and processing fees.

Cancellation of a fairing parts order within 48 hours of “In the Paint Booth” status will be issued a refund minus merchant and processing fees and a $15 repainting fee.

Cancellation of a fairing parts order after 48 hours of “In the Paint Booth” status will be issued a refund minus merchant and processing fees and a 25% restocking fee.

Cancellation of a fairing parts order in “Awaiting Confirmation” Status will be issued a refund minus merchant fees, processing fees, and a 50% restocking fee.

Cancellation of any fairing parts order with personal names, numbers, and or personalized details will be issued a refund minus merchant fees, processing fees and 75% based on the size and complexity of the parts, design/decal.

No cancellation of a fairing parts order is allowed once the fairing kit is in “Ok to Ship” or “Shipped” status.

23.0 Fairing Kit and Part Warranty

Warranty Disclaimer

All warranties and liabilities of products are null and void if improper installation, improper use, modifications, and abuse of products occur. Warranties are honored and limited to the original purchaser of the products only including our dealers. Our warranty does not cover shipping, labor, or storage costs, and does not cover your painting costs for our unpainted Kits. Our warranty does not cover parts that were included as Free items.

Doing a credit card chargeback, opening a PayPal case, or leaving a bad review, before opening a Support Ticket and giving us the opportunity to fix the problem will void your warranty.

23.1 Any Issues

Please inspect all parts within 48 hours of signing for your delivery. We try to package the bodywork as best as we can but from time to time parts do have issues. If you receive a damaged part, please take pictures of the box, shipping label, and the entire part uninstalled front and back, then open a support ticket at: https://absfairings.com/support/ *** Please allow the warranty team time to find a resolution to your issue. Opening a PayPal case or doing a chargeback will put your Support Ticket on Hold ***

23.2 Hi-Vis Paint

Suppose you purchase a High Visibility Design/Color for your fairings. In that case, we highly recommend you protect it with consistent UV Protectant wax application (Such as NexGen’s Carnauba Spray Wax) or ceramic coating to protect it from UV Damage and Sun Fading. (For Example, but not limited to, Shocker Yellow, Neon Yellow, and Hot Pink) ABS Fairings warranty does not cover fading issues on these Hi-Vis paints

23.3 Heatshield

It is especially important to install a heatshield before mounting the fairings, even if you are going around the block to test out your new fairings. Any fairing part near the exhaust system requires protection. If you have any questions about installing the heatshield, please contact us! ABS Fairings warranty does not cover melting issues with no heatshield installed/Installed Improperly.

23.4 Shipping Damage, Defects, and Missing Parts

A support ticket must be opened within 2 days of receiving the fairing kit. Photos and descriptions of the damage must be included in the support ticket to initiate replacement parts. Any support ticket or claim after the 2-day limit will not be approved for warranty replacement. Please Do not install the kit if there is an issue! The warranty is voided if the fairing kit has been installed before a warranty claim resolution. Complimentary items are not covered under warranty. After 30 days of no response to a support ticket, the ticket will be closed.

23.5 Fitment Issues

If there is a fitment issue, please open a support ticket within 5 days of receiving and one installation attempt. Photos and a description of the issue must be included in the support ticket to initiate the warranty. Any issue reported after 5 days will not be accepted. DO NOT operate the vehicle with suspect fitment or structural issues. After 30 days of no response to a support ticket, the ticket will be closed.

23.6 Melting and Fading

A Support Ticket must be opened within 30 days of receiving your fairing kit. Photos and descriptions of the damage must be included in the support ticket to initiate the claim process. Any issue reported after 30 days will not be accepted. After 30 days of no response to a support ticket, the ticket will be closed.

23.7 Environmental Issues

ABS Fairings Warranty does not cover environmental issues, for example, but not limited to Fuel, Brake Fluid, Spills, Etc.

24.0 HotbodiesRacing.com Fiberglass Kit Warranty

Our products are warranted against defects in material and/or workmanship for 90 days. This does not cover finishes such as plating, painted surfaces, discoloration, or rust. This warranty shall be limited to the repair or replacement of the part which may be proven defective under normal use. We will not warranty any part that has been abused, misused, improperly installed, or modified. Before sending a new replacement part to you, we must receive the original defective part back first. We do not refund shipping fees. We will not be responsible for any labor charges incurred in removing or replacing any product under warranty. Product issues must be reported to us by filling out an ABS Fairings Support Ticket.

25.0 Core Moto Performance Warranty

Custom Aftermarket Brake Line Kits: Returns of products will be accepted for return, provided a return authorization is obtained within ten (10) days of delivery. If a product’s packaging is opened and cannot be resealed, no return will be accepted. If a return is authorized but is caused by customer error or without defect, a twenty percent (20%) restocking fee will be charged. Custom, special order, and handmade components will not be accepted for return. Order cancellations, only if applicable, will be charged a 10% restocking fee. Otherwise, order Cancellations will be treated as a return. In no case will we refund the paid shipping cost on any return that is NOT due to a defective item upon receipt. No returns will be authorized due to back-order status or shipping delay. We will also not issue a refund for refused packages, undelivered or lost packages due to the customer not being present. Product issues must be reported to us by filling out an ABS Fairings Support Ticket.

Limitation of Liability

The purchaser of T-Rex products releases T-Rex Racing, Inc., its distributors, and re-sellers of any liability pertaining to the installation and use of the purchased parts. This liability includes but is not limited to personal injury, death, vehicle, and property damages. Unless stated otherwise, All products are created to fit stock motorcycles without OEM or aftermarket accessories.

As with all crash protection devices, the device will be in contact with the ground before the frame or engine case will. As a result, the lean angle of the bike will be reduced. Check and apply a safe leaning angle before any type of aggressive riding as that on a race track. Do not go past this angle. If the lean angle is not as desired, remove the products. Purchaser recognizes that any alteration or modification to the vehicle may increase the risk of injury, death, accident, and/or vehicle damage. This product does not guarantee that it will protect you or your bike in case of a fall, a tip-over, or a drop. In certain cases, it can cause even more damage. Obey all traffic laws and maintain the speed limit.

All T-Rex products must be installed by a certified technician. Manufacturer torque specifications must be applied to all the bolts involved with the installation. Follow your manufacturer’s recommendation and inspect your bike for any sign of looseness or irregularity. Our lowering links are designed for close-circuit drag-racing use only. These terms and conditions will serve as an addition to those in the instructions that come with the purchased product(s). All of our powder-coated bolts are powder-coated and shipped directly from our office in Florida, all of our Ready to Ship kits are shipped directly from our office in Florida, and all of our customer service is done from our Florida office M-F 9am-5pm EST.

We have the best fitment, quality, and warranty in the aftermarket industry! We will reply with a written quote. We will get all the details of your fit, designs, colors, options, and cost completed to your request. Next, we will send you an invoice to your email with a safe pay link and ask you to register an account on our website or herePlease review and ensure that the shipping address in PayPal is updated and correct before making payment on your invoice or website order. Your order will be shipped to the PayPal Verified address on your invoice payment receipt.  We are unable to make changes once the payment has been made. Once verified, an ABS Order ID number will be assigned to your order.

If you want or if we feel it necessary for the painter to understand your design, then a mock-up photo process can be performed. We have a talented staff in Florida ready to make your ideas reality.

The $50.00 to $100.00 mock-up payment is a non-refundable fee—maximum of three revisions. Design changes will require a new mockup photo. The intended use of the photo is for ABS Fairings Paint Shop Manager to understand customer design position and color placement; it is not meant to be exact. The digital image is created utilizing specific instructions that the customer has provided. This level of mock-up is not an ABSFairings.com custom-created design.  The digital photo is not an exact representation of the final product. The final product is subject to modifications, on-site, from the digital rendition due to the painter’s actual product measurements, specifications, and artistic abilities.

If your part is in stock in our USA warehouse, it usually takes us about 2 to 3 business days to process and handle. Parts shipped from the USA warehouse normally arrive within 2-7 business days once your order has been shipped.

6.2 Factory Direct Parts
If the part you have ordered is out of stock in our warehouse, our team will ship it directly from the factory.
It usually takes about 3 to 5 business days to process and handle.

Factory-direct parts normally arrive within 7-10 business days once your order has shipped.
If the product is shipped factory direct, then we will email you with an estimated timeline and ask for your approval.

Our team will review the order details and payment information. You may be asked to reply with a photo of your driver’s license to help us verify payment and shipping details. So, you must be able to communicate through email.

Our customer service team will confirm stock location. If USA stock, we will send you a tracking number in about 1 to 3 business days. If the product is shipping factory direct, then we will email you with an estimated timeline and ask for your approval.

8.0 ABS Fairings General Information

8.1 Aftermarket Fairing Fastener and Bolt Kit Reference Guide

A specialized Fairing Fastener kit tailored by our experienced team members. We offer the most complete aftermarket fastener kits available, making this your best choice for one stop shopping. Our parts lists are specific to your model/year group and more!. Furthermore, ABS Fairings Fastener kits are much more than our high quality stainless steel bolts, they also include: stainless steel screws, flat and step washers, clip, weld, rubber, and lock nuts, and push pin retainers. Our bolts are made from stainless steel. So, you will not have the stripping out issues common with our competitors. Optional colors offered by electroplating or powder coating in Florida with USA Prismatic Powders to complement your new look.

We recommend an experienced technician install your fairings; however, with medium to high skill levels and patience, you should be able to complete a fairing kit swap over a weekend. You must use the manufacturer’s instructions, torque values, and safety warnings. Below are some fairing fastener installation tips:

Most of our bolt kits are universal to your model and apply to more than just one model/year group, so having additional parts is normal.

  • Check fastener depth for clearance. For example, do not allow a screw tip to be too long and damage a part or a bolt to be too short and not get full thread engagement.
  • Our aftermarket bolt heads have a smaller diameter head than some OEM-style bolts, and our aftermarket bolts do not have shanks like some OEM-style bolts. So, we use step/shoulder washers.
  • Check fastener with step/shoulder washer diameter. If the fairing hole is too small, a hobby/Exacto knife can be used to clean fairing holes of any excess plastic or paint. If the fairing hole is too large, check if a rubber grommet is needed.
  • Step/Shoulder washers supplied are required. These will copy the OEM-style bolt shank. They are specially designed washers to help provide both scratch resistance and a seat for the screws in the required location. Some shoulder washers have a large internal diameter to provide space for alignment and natural movement between fairings. Check carefully and center all screws before tightening to give a good finish.
  • Do not tighten until all bolts of the part are hand-started and centered. The torque sequence should be for the center of the part outwards.
  • Stainless Steel Bolts/Screws are strong, but we do not recommend using a screw gun. Just take your time. Do not over tighten. Silicon sealant is an excellent soft thread lubricant and soft thread lock.
  • For the colored kit, the powder coating does add a few mils to the screw hole dimensions, and the standard Metric Allen wrench will likely not fit. Try a standard size of 7/64” for the M5 and 9/64” for the M6.
  • Flat Washers should be used to have soft contact with the painted plastic parts.
  • Clip Nuts are designed for variable thickness, so an adjustment to the internal tab with needle nose pliers may be necessary to achieve a soft fit. If the screws do not appear centered on the fairing holes, ensure all the speed nuts are correctly aligned.
  • Weld-Nuts are used for nut blind spots. The surface must be clean for the adhesive to work. They also work to replace Dzus ¼ turn screws. In addition, they work to replace push-type retainers, which are recommended for high-speed applications.
  • For high-speed applications, we suggest replacing push pins with nuts and bolts.

8.2 Fairing Installation
Although our fairings are made to be an easier install for our customers, ABS Fairings does suggest that an experienced technician should install your fairings: however, with medium to high skill levels and patience, you should be able to complete a fairing kit swap over a weekend. You must use the manufacturer’s instructions, torque values, and safety warnings.

8.3 Paint and Protection Information

8.3.1 Hi-Vis Paint:
If you purchase a High Visibility Design/Color for your fairings, we highly recommend you protect it with consistent UV Protectant wax application (Such as Nexgen’s Carnauba Spray Wax) or ceramic coating to protect it from UV Damage and Sun Fading. (For Example, but not limited to, Shocker Yellow, Neon Yellow, and Hot Pink) ABS Fairings warranty does not cover fading issues on these Hi-Vis paints.

8.3.2 Paint Codes:
Our paint is custom mixed, and we don’t have conventional paint codes available, but you can take a piece of the fairing kit to a modern automobile paint store, and they can match the paint.

8.3.3 Touch-up Paint:
We don’t have the ability to ship liquids. But you can take a piece of the fairing kit to a modern automobile paint store, and they can match the paint and make you a little sample.

8.3.4 Wax:
All fairings should be protected with wax. We like Nexgen products, and the Chemical Guys make a good one just for matte finishes.

8.3.5 ABS Fairings Mold:
Our molds are inspected and maintained, and we never buy used molds. Each part is made with precise measurements every time.

8.3.6 ABS Fairings Plastic:
New virgin high-quality ABS plastic. Not recycled or mixed with fillers is a common practice for cutting costs. We inject our high-quality ABS plastic into a well-maintained mold so that each part is made with precise measurements, flexibility, and temperature resistance.

  • Prep Work: A two-part primer made for abs plastic. This is an essential step to the adhesion of the paint to the part. This expensive step can easily be skipped by paint shops trying to cut costs.
  • Base Coats: We generally apply 2-3 coats of base automotive grade paint and then the secondary colors. This can be one of the most time-consuming steps depending on the complexity of the design. Then we use a UV light drying process.
  • We do not paint the back side of the fairings unless requested within a custom design.

8.3.7 Heatshield:
It is vital to install it before mounting the fairings, even if you are going around the block to test your new fairings. Any fairing part near the exhaust system requires protection. If you have any questions about installing the heatshield, please get in touch with us! ABS Fairings warranty does not cover melting issues with no heatshield installed/Installed Improperly.

8.3.8 Decals:
Our standard process is to install the decals/ vinyl of the design under the clear coat to lock them in for years of life and that custom look. If you want no decals or decals on top of the clear coat, just add your request to the custom notes of your order.

8.3.9 Clear Coat:
This is one of the most essential steps to a beautiful paint job. We use automotive grade paint clear coat with an additive flex agent. We carefully apply 2-3 generous coats to ensure adequate protection and a brilliant shine. The thick clear coat allows you to buff out road scratches for years of shine. Please note only one coat of clear on Matte paint.

8.3.10 Packaging:
While this step may not seem as intense as the others, it’s during this time that all parts undergo our quality control inspection. We don’t just check every tenth or hundredth fairing; we check every detail to ensure it’s ready for you.

Estimated Timeline: Standard and Custom full fairing kit orders within the Continental United States and Canada automatically ship with Standard Shipping which is estimated at about 3 to 4 weeks. These times are reliable; however, they are not guaranteed.

12.2 Express Air Shipping:

We can now offer express shipping by air for most orders. This shipping method takes an estimated 2 to 3 weeks. These times are reliable; however, they are not guaranteed.

Our team will provide any additional shipping options based on box size, weight, and shipping address. Although other shipping methods are not guaranteed, they are available for most orders. If available, the following options listed below will incur an additional cost.

12.3 Hawaii and Alaska Shipping:

Hawaii and Alaska Standard and Custom full fairing kit orders please contact us. Or once your order is received, we will confirm your address and box size with your options. Our team will then email you with shipping options available at that time, including price. For example, orders to Hawaii and Alaska typically incur an additional shipping charge of $25.00 estimated at 3 to 4 weeks. Prices vary based on the box size and shipping address.

12.4 International Shipping:

Our team will confirm your address and box size and reach out to you if any differences in pricing or timelines occur. Or please contact us with your shipping address for your shipping pricing and estimated timelines. Prices vary based on the box size and shipping address.

12.5 Processing and Handling:

The transport of your order from the paint shop to the airport typically takes an estimated 3-5 business days. Please be rest assured that our team is diligently working on getting your package delivered promptly.

13.0 Ready to Ship Kit:

These kits are completed and ready to be shipped. It usually takes 2-3 business days to process and prepare your fairings. Once your fairings have shipped, most packages arrive within 2-10 business days by UPS or FedEx ground with a signature required. Free Shipping is included for orders within the Continental United States; for all other customers, including Hawaii and Alaska, please get in touch with us.

14.0 Tracking Information:

After your order has shipped, you will be emailed the tracking number and information. You are welcome to log in to your account at your convenience to review the current status of your order or your order information.

ABS Fairings does not own, nor does it control the shipping company’s process; therefore, ABS Fairings is not responsible for shipping company issues, including but not limited to delays, loss, theft, or damage. Our team provides tracking information so that customers can track their packages and contact the shipping company if an issue occurs.

If you suspect an issue has occurred, including but not limited to fraud, theft, or damage to the package, please get in touch with the shipping company for more information. Customers must track their packages, as we require an adult signature upon delivery.

If the first attempt at delivery was unsuccessful, please contact the shipping company directly to make arrangements for redelivery or pick-up. If a customer’s tracking number indicates “Delivered” and the customer did not receive the package, they must immediately contact the shipping company and local authorities. Customers must contact our team by opening a support ticket with your shipping company’s claim and police report case number.

Customers surrender their chargeback processing rights if they do not take responsibility for working with all parties mentioned.

Once your order leaves the factory and is enroute to your home, we entrust the shipping company with providing the best shipment service to our customers.

Unfortunately, issues do arise from time to time, and we completely understand your frustration. Please note that we see the same tracking information as the customer; therefore, we cannot provide any additional information or insight on your order’s whereabouts. 15.0 Custom Taxes for International Orders:

Customs (Taxes, if required) – Buyer’s responsibility. Import duties, taxes, and charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges. These charges are the buyer’s responsibility. Please check with your country customs office to determine these additional costs.

Support ticket parts and any accessories purchased may be shipped in separate packages. All packages may be subject to customs taxes imposed by the country of shipment destination. ABSFairings.com is not responsible for the payment of said taxes.

16.0 Unclaimed Shipments:

The customer is responsible for tracking and signing for the fairing kit shipment. The customer will be responsible for the re-shipping cost if unclaimed and returned to the sender. Please track your fairings and make arrangements for someone to be present to accept your package to avoid extra shipping charges. *All of our packages require an adult signature upon delivery. *

17.0 APO/FPO Addresses:

We currently ship to APO and FPO military addresses, our team will confirm your address and box size and reach out to you if any differences in pricing occur. Please be advised that shipping can sometimes be delayed with APO shipping addresses. Please email us to confirm the address.

18.0 PO Boxes:

We are currently unable to ship complete fairing kits to PO Boxes. ABS Fairings requires a signature at the time of delivery. You will be contacted for an alternate shipping address if a PO Box is entered during checkout. We apologize for the inconvenience.

19.0 PayPal Shipping Addresses:

Please review and ensure that the shipping address is correct when using PayPal as an option on the website or invoicing system. Our system utilizes the address that PayPal approves and provides our company with. We cannot change the billing and shipping address once the payment has been made.

Marked As Delivered (Stolen)

– Claims will be reviewed no earlier than 5 calendar days and no later than 15 calendar days from when it was marked delivered.

– Please note, some order issues may require a police report to be filed.

Stuck In Transit (Lost)

– For domestic orders, claims will be reviewed no earlier than 2 calendar days and no later than 30 calendar days from the last update. The maximum filing time is 365 days from the order date.

– For international orders, claims will be reviewed no earlier than 20 calendar days and no later than 30 calendar days from the last update. The maximum filing time is 365 days from the order date.

Damaged

– Claims for damaged items require photos of the packaging and item(s) and must be filed no later than 15 calendar days from when it was marked delivered.

21.0 Return Policy

We are a “Hassle-Free” company, and our office is located in Port Charlotte, FL. This is where all our custom orders, returns, replacements, repairs, and customer service are handled.

A return request by email must occur within 5 business days of delivery. The customer is responsible for the monetary cost of return shipping to our Florida offices and will receive a full refund, less Express Shipping (if applicable), merchant fees, processing fees, route fees and a $100.00 restocking fee for your full fairing kit order. All parts are to be individually wrapped in original packaging. These terms will apply as long as the ABS Fairings Management Team deems the item is Uninstalled and Undamaged upon inspection. ABS Fairings will not accept returns after 5 days of the delivery date

ABS Fairings has a lot of experience painting fairing kits over the past 10 years. However, we do not guarantee a color and design match. Most customers say the color is very similar to motorcycle industry paint colors and do not notice a difference. We do not use traditional paint codes, nor do we guarantee that our custom mixed colors can be color matched by a paint shop not associated with ABS Fairings.

All special orders and ready-to-ship items will be charged a 25% restocking fee upon return.

ABS Fairings LLC does sell individual parts but does not guarantee a perfect color match. Individual parts are not returnable. ABS Fairings, LLC does sell unpainted fairing kits made from 100% ABS plastic molded to OEM specifications to allow for precision fitment. Please note that we suggest you test fit the parts before painting them to verify fitment.

 

22.0 Cancellation Policy

22.1.1 Cancellation of an order before “In The Paint Booth” status will be issued a full refund minus merchant and processing fees.

22.2 Cancellation of order within 48 hours of “In the Paint Booth” status will be issued a refund minus merchant and processing fees and a $40.00 restocking fee.

22.3 Cancellation of order after 48 hours of “In the Paint Booth” status will be issued a refund minus merchant and processing fees and a $100.00 restocking fee.

22.4 Cancellation of order in the “Awaiting Confirmation” status will be issued a refund minus merchant fees, processing fees, and a $100.00 restocking fee.

22.5 No cancellation of an order is allowed once the fairing kit is in the “Ok to Ship” or “Shipped” status.

 

22.2 Custom Design Cancellation Policy

Cancellation of an order before “In the Paint Booth” status will be issued a full refund minus merchant and processing fees.

Cancellation of order within 48 hours of “In the Paint Booth” status will be issued a refund minus merchant and processing fees and an $80.00 repainting fee.

Cancellation of order after 48 hours of “In the Paint Booth” status will be issued a refund minus merchant and processing fees and a $150.00 restocking fee.

Cancellation of an order in “Awaiting Confirmation” Status will be issued a refund minus merchant fees, processing fees, and a $150.00 restocking fee.

Cancellation of any fairing kit with personal names, numbers, and or quotes will be issued a refund minus $100.00-200.00 based on the size and complexity of the design/decal.

No cancellation of an order is allowed once the fairing kit is in “Ok to Ship” or “Shipped” status.

 

22.3 Personalized Custom Design Cancellation/Return Policy

Fairing orders have been customized specifically for an individual customer and cannot be canceled or returned as these are created for a specific that specific individual.

 

22.4 Fairing Parts Order Cancellation Policy

Cancellation of a fairing parts order before “In the Paint Booth” status will be issued a refund minus merchant and processing fees

Cancellation of a fairing parts order within 48 hours of “In the Paint Booth” status will be issued a refund minus merchant and processing fees and a $15 repainting fee.

Cancellation of a fairing parts order after 48 hours of “In the Paint Booth” status will be issued a refund minus merchant and processing fees and a 25% restocking fee.

Cancellation of a fairing parts order in “Awaiting Confirmation” Status will be issued a refund minus merchant fees, processing fees, and a 50% restocking fee.

Cancellation of any fairing parts order with personal names, numbers, and or personalized details will be issued a refund minus merchant fees, processing fees and 75% based on the size and complexity of the parts, design/decal.

No cancellation of a fairing parts order is allowed once the fairing kit is in “Ok to Ship” or “Shipped” status.

Warranty

23.0 Fairing Kit and Part Warranty

Warranty Disclaimer

All warranties and liabilities of products are null and void if improper installation, improper use, modifications, and abuse of products occur.
Warranties are honored and limited to the original purchaser of the products only including our dealers.
Our warranty does not cover shipping, labor, or storage costs, and does not cover your painting costs for our unpainted Kits.
Our warranty does not cover parts that were included as Free items.
Doing a credit card chargeback, opening a PayPal case, or leaving a bad review, before opening a Support Ticket and giving us the opportunity to fix the problem will void your warranty.

23.1 Any Issues

Please inspect all parts within 48 hours of signing for your delivery. We try to package the bodywork as best as we can but from time-to-time parts do have issues. 23.2 Hi-Vis Paint

Suppose you purchase a High Visibility Design/Color for your fairings. In that case, we highly recommend you protect it with consistent UV Protectant wax application (Such as NexGen’s Carnauba Spray Wax) or ceramic coating to protect it from UV Damage and Sun Fading. (For Example, but not limited to, Shocker Yellow, Neon Yellow, and Hot Pink) ABS Fairings warranty does not cover fading issues on these Hi-Vis paints

23.3 Heatshield

It is especially important to install a heatshield before mounting the fairings, even if you are going around the block to test out your new fairings. Any fairing part near the exhaust system requires protection. If you have any questions about installing the heatshield, please contact us! ABS Fairings warranty does not cover melting issues with no heatshield installed/Installed Improperly.

23.4 Shipping Damage, Defects, and Missing Parts

A support ticket must be opened within 2 days of receiving the fairing kit. Photos and descriptions of the damage must be included in the support ticket to initiate replacement parts. Any support ticket or claim after the 2-day limit will not be approved for warranty replacement. Please Do not install the kit if there is an issue! The warranty is voided if the fairing kit has been installed before a warranty claim resolution. Complimentary items are not covered under warranty. After 30 days of no response to a support ticket, the ticket will be closed.

23.5 Fitment Issues

If there is a fitment issue, please open a support ticket within 5 days of receiving and one installation attempt. Photos and a description of the issue must be included in the support ticket to initiate the warranty. Any issue reported after 5 days will not be accepted. DO NOT operate the vehicle with suspect fitment or structural issues. After 30 days of no response to a support ticket, the ticket will be closed.

23.6 Melting and Fading

A Support Ticket must be opened within 30 days of receiving your fairing kit. Photos and descriptions of the damage must be included in the support ticket to initiate the claim process. Any issue reported after 30 days will not be accepted. After 30 days of no response to a support ticket, the ticket will be closed.

23.7 Environmental Issues

ABS Fairings Warranty does not cover environmental issues, for example, but not limited to Fuel, Brake Fluid, Spills, Etc.

 

24.0 HotbodiesRacing.com Fiberglass Kit Warranty

Our products are warranted against defects in material and/or workmanship for 90 days. This does not cover finishes such as plating, painted surfaces, discoloration, or rust. This warranty shall be limited to the repair or replacement of the part which may be proven defective under normal use. We will not warranty any part that has been abused, misused, improperly installed, or modified. Before sending a new replacement part to you, we must receive the original defective part back first. We do not refund shipping fees. We will not be responsible for any labor charges incurred in removing or replacing any product under warranty. Product issues must be reported to us by filling out an ABS Fairings Support Ticket.

 

25.0 Core Moto Performance Warranty

Custom Aftermarket Brake Line Kits: Returns of products will be accepted for return, provided a return authorization is obtained within ten (10) days of delivery. If a product’s packaging is opened and cannot be resealed, no return will be accepted. If a return is authorized but is caused by customer error or without defect, a twenty percent (20%) restocking fee will be charged. Custom, special order, and handmade components will not be accepted for return. Order cancellations, only if applicable, will be charged a 10% restocking fee. Otherwise, order Cancellations will be treated as a return. In no case will we refund the paid shipping cost on any return that is NOT due to a defective item upon receipt. No returns will be authorized due to back-order status or shipping delay. We will also not issue a refund for refused packages, undelivered or lost packages due to the customer not being present. Product issues must be reported to us by filling out an ABS Fairings Support Ticket.

Limitation of Liability

The purchaser of T-Rex products releases T-Rex Racing, Inc., its distributors, and re-sellers of any liability pertaining to installation and use of the purchased parts. This liability includes but not limited to personal injury, death, vehicle and property damages. Unless stated otherwise, All products are created to fit stock motorcycles without OEM or aftermarket accessories.

As with all crash protection devices, the device will be in contact with the ground before the frame or engine case will. As the result, lean angle of the bike will be reduced. Check and apply safe leaning angle before any type aggressive riding as that on a race track. Do not go pass this angle. If the lean angle is not as desired, remove the products. Purchaser recognizes that any alteration or modification to the vehicle may increase the risk of injury, death, accident and/or vehicle damage. This product does not guarantee that it will protect you or your bike in case of a fall, a tip over or drop. In certain case, it can cause even more damages. Obey all traffic laws and maintain speed limit.

All T-Rex products must be installed by a certified technician. Manufacturer torque specifications must be applied to all the bolts involved with installation. Follow your manufacturer’s recommendation and inspect your bike for any sign of looseness or irregularity. Our lowering links are designed for close-circuit drag-racing use only. These terms and conditions will serve as an addition to those in the instructions that come with the purchased product(s). As with anything you purchase, please read and understand the operating/installation instructions thoroughly before using the product(s). Your rights of whatever nature cannot be assigned nor transferred to anybody, and any such attempt may result in termination of this Agreement, without liability to us. However, we may assign this Agreement to any person at any time without notice.
