Please go to: https://absfairings.com/custom-design-quote/ and send us your information. We will provide a written quote in response. After we will finalize all the details, including fit, designs, colors, options, box size, and cost, tailored to your request. Once you approve your quote, we will send you a PayPal invoice via email with a secure payment link. Please ensure that your shipping address in PayPal is up to date and correct before completing the payment for your invoice. Note that PayPal offers various payment options, including ‘Pay as Guest,’ which allows you to use PayPal without logging in. Your order will be shipped to the PayPal Verified address listed on your payment receipt, and we are unable to make any changes once the payment has been processed. Additionally, we will ask you to register an account on our website or here! After payment verification is complete, an ABS Fairings order number will be assigned to your order.If you want or if we feel it necessary for the painter to understand your design, then a mock-up photo process can be performed. We have a talented staff in Florida ready to make your ideas a reality.
The $50.00 to $100.00 mock-up payment is a non-refundable fee—a maximum of three revisions. Design changes will require a new mockup photo. The intended use of the photo is for ABS Fairings Paint Shop Manager to understand customer design position and color placement; it is not meant to be exact. The digital image is created utilizing specific instructions that the customer has provided. This level of mock-up is not an ABSFairings.com custom-created design. The digital photo is not an exact representation of the final product. The final product is subject to modifications, on-site, from the digital rendition due to the painter’s actual product measurements, specifications, and artistic abilities.
ABS Fairings bodywork is freshly painted to order after payment is received:
- Order status “Pending”: Our team will review the order details and payment information. You may be asked to reply with a photo of your driver’s license to help us verify payment and shipping details. So, you must be able to communicate through email.
- Order status “In the Paint Booth”: When your kit is placed in paint booth status, it encompasses the following:
- Acquiring your parts from stock
- Prepping the surface for paint
- Placed in the queue for paint
- Painting commences
- Decals applied
- Final clear coat applied
It takes about 10 to 15 working days to make and paint standard orders.
Additional time for prep and painting completion may be required due to the following circumstances: custom orders, complex designs, optional parts, specialty decals, holidays, paint shop maintenance, and our high order season which generally occurs from March through May. Order status “Awaiting Confirmation”: Once your fairing kit is completed, our team will send an email that includes:
- Photos of the kit we made just for you
- Your Shipping address
- Your shipping method and estimated timeline
- Reply with “OK TO SHIP” if all is correct.
Awaiting Confirmation with No reply: The confirmation photo process is a courtesy to our customers and is not a requirement. ABS Fairings can ship your product without your confirmation. It is extremely important for you to view your product photos and confirm your shipping address and method to make sure everything is correct. This process is done through email, and we expect the customer to reply to the email with an “OK to Ship.” Shipping will hold the product for 30 days. If there is no reply after 30 days the product will be shipped to our Florida Location, where the customer is responsible for any reshipment costs.
Order status “OK TO SHIP”: We have received your OK to Ship, and your package will ship by truck from our paint shop to the airport or seaport. Next, our shipping agent will get your package checked in and post your tracking number. This process is estimated to take 2 to 3 business days.
Order status “Shipped”: Our customer service team will provide tracking information in an email for your convenience. You will need to track and plan to accept delivery with the shipping company. Shipping companies may also experience delays due to the holiday season and the impact of environmental conditions.
